Mistletoe Lyrics

It's the most beautiful time of the year
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer
I should be playing in the winter snow
But I'mma be under the mistletoe

I don't want to miss out on the holiday
But I can't stop staring at your face
I should be playing in the winter snow
but imma be under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

Everyone's gathering around the fire
Chestnuts roasting like a hot July
I should be chillin' with my folks, I know
But I'mma be under the mistletoe

Word on the street santa's coming tonight
Reindeer's flying thought the sky so high
I should be making a list I know
But I'mma be under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

Eh, love, the wise men followed the star (the wise men followed the star)
The way I follow my heart
And it led me to a miracle

Eh love, don't you buy me nothing (don't you buy me nothing)
Cause I am feeling one thing, your lips on my lips
That's a merry, merry Christmas

It's the most beautiful time of the year
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer
I should be playing in the winter snow (i know)
But I'mma be under the mistletoe

I don't want to miss out on the holiday
But I can't stop staring at your face
I should be playing in the winter snow
But I'mma be under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe (oh yeah)
With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you (oh yeah)
With you, under the mistletoe (under the mistletoe)
Kiss me underneath the mistletoe (Kiss me underneath the mistletoe)
Show me baby that you love me so-oh-oh (oh-oh-oh-ohh)
Oh, oh, ohhh (oh-oh-oh-ohh)
Kiss me underneath the mistletoe (Kiss me underneath the mistletoe)
Show me baby that you love me so-oh-oh (ooohhh)
Oh, oh, ohhh (ooohhh)

Apartments for Rent

Hello everyone,

Today, we're going to talk about the places we live, and the places we want live in the future.  It's true, everyone needs a place to live, but there are many housing options to choose from.  There are apartments, dormitories, houses, terrace houses, condominiums, shared houses, etc.

Let's looks at three of these housing options for today's warm-up...

WARM-UP!

1) Japanese Apartments

👆This is a small apartment building in Tokyo.

Lesson 23 - A Day at School

                                                      Rissho University, Shinagawa Campus

Hello students and tutors,

This is a difficult blog post to write.  It is difficult to write about school life these days.  Specifically, it's difficult to write about a life that 1st year Rissho students have not experienced yet: school life at Rissho.  Because of COVID19, no one in this class has had "A Day at School" on our friendly campus.  For all of us, this school year has been spent online.  So maybe we should make a lesson called, "A Day of Online School!"

But, we can imagine.  Let's try to imagine what a school day at Rissho is like.  Let's try to imagine what a day at school will be like after COVID.  For MKD tutors, too, MKD campus life this year is not the same as it was last year, right?  In fact, most students around the world have experienced a lot of change in their daily routines.  COVID19 has affected all of us. 🌏

Most importantly, we must look ahead.  We must think of a happier, healthier, safer future.  Let's do our best.

Below 👇 is a photo of a happy, pre-COVID day at Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku!

And here 👇 is a video of historical day at MKD  (2017).  Check it out.

_____________________________ Warm up _____________________________

MKD tutors: Please ask Rissho students to talk about their high school days.  For example, please ask them to describe a regular day at high school was like.

Was your high school like this?👇...

or was high school like this?👇...

OK, so after the warm up chat, let's go to today's lesson.  It's on Randall's ESL Lab, and the title is 'A Day at School'.  Imagine and enjoy!

Lesson 22 - Voicemail

Hi all!

For today's lesson, we're going to talk about telecommunication.

Do you know what the word telecommunication means?  Well, tele means "over a distance," so if you see a word with tele in it, it means something that is done over a distance.  And of course you know the word communication (通信 tsuushin).  So the word telecommunication is tele + communication = telecommunication, or communication over a distance.

Here are some words with tele in them:

1.👇 telescope (to see something over a distance

2. 👇 television (to watch something over a distance)

t

3. 👇 telephone (to talk with someone over a distance)

4. 👇 Teletubbies (Well, I don't know how they got their name!😂)

and of course...

5. 👇 telecommunication (to communicate over a distance)

By the way, telecommunication means 電気通信 (denki tsuushin) in Japanese.

___________________________________________________

Next, let's talk about what functions (機能 kinōyou have on your smartphone and your landline (固定電話 kotei-denwa).  By the way, do you have a landline?  Some people don't use them anymore.

On your smartphone, do you have voicemail (ボイスメール) function?

On your landline, do you have voicemail or an answering machine (留守番電話 rusuban denwa) function?

👈 answering machine function on a landline

____________________________________________________________

OK, next we're going to practice listening to voicemail messages, and then we will learn how to leave messages on voicemail or on an answering machine.

MKD tutors will use this website to teach you more about telecommunication, so click 👉 HERE.
