Welcome to class. Thank you for visiting our Online English blog. This blog is for Online English students in the Kokusai Course at Rissho University, Shinagawa Campus. This blog can be used for both Prof. Homan's class and my class, too. Let me introduce myself. My name is Mike Kubo, and I'm one of your Online English teachers. Please call me Mike.
I'm originally from the US (California), but I live and work in Japan. I've been teaching here at Rissho for many years. I am sad that I cannot meet you face to face, but it's nice to meet you here online.
Lets get started!
First, what is Online English? Well, Online English is a popular class with students. Online English gives Kokusai Course students a chance to communicate online, face-to-face with friendly tutors from Mindao Kokusai Daigaku (MKD)in Davao City in the Philippines. Every Wednesday, you can enjoy an Online English lesson with a fun and friendly MKD tutor. You will be surprised how fast your English will improve. Trust me.
But! This bad thing...
Yes, it's coronavirus. And this virus is making many problems in Japan and in the Philippines, too.
Rissho teachers and students cannot return to school, and MKD tutors cannot return to their school either because of coronavirus. Now, we cannot return, but we CAN still learn!
